I understand (maybe somebody else will comment with facts) that there is 
_very_ little compression braking with a standard diesel engine - MUCH less 
than with a standard gas engine.

Dodge says if you add an exhaust brake to a vehicle with automatic 
transmission, you void the warranty. Dodge says using the jake brake (the 
exhaust brake available through Dodge) with the new HO diesel + 6-speed 
manual tranny, the warranty is OK
