 Hello David, According to what I see at the bottom of your listing , 
this is 2003 Bambi. I woould take it back where I bought it and tell 
them the problem. This sounds like a warranty problem. This should 
not be happening. If you are having this much problem getting the 
drain plug to stop leaking there is something wrong with plug or the 
heater it self.  I have had my plug in and out several times and it 
don't leak. There is something else wrong with your heater or the
