Alan,
 All the OPD valves are brass. The LENGTH of the float assembly that goes
inside the tank is slightly different for aluminum tanks than that used for
steel tanks. If the tank is filled by WEIGHT, as it's supposed to, it'll
make no difference at all. The tank could be slightly overfilled if the
operator simply lets 'er rip until the float shuts off the flow. Probably
not dangerously so, but overfilled, nonetheless.
