Jack,

You might want to take a second look at the Prodigy.  If you buy the
Tekonsha electrical cable for the Prodigy/GM, it is a very simple
installation.  One end plugs into the rear of the brake controller and the
other end plugs into the fuse panel under the dash on the left. You also
have to plug  the 40 amp fuse into the fuse box  in the engine compartment.
No trying to figure out which wire is which, just plug 'em in.

The factory towing package comes with a pigtail with the under the dash
connector.  You have to sort out the wires at the other end.  OK for the
controllers with loose wires, but I went for the easy way out. [The Prodigy
also comes with the plug for the back of the controller, so you can use the
GM pigtail wiring harness if you choose.]

Note that the Prodigy, unlike all the other inertia/accelerometer
controllers (tyhat I know of) can be mounted in almost any position, and
does not need "angle adjustments" to make it work properly.

Granted, the Prodigy is getting its signals indirectly; vs. the Jordan
getting it directly from the driver's brake pedal actions.

Personally, I trust the Prodigy electronics over the dangling cable clamped
to the brake pedal.

Having said that, both units are the best of the available controllers.
