I pulled a wheel off of my '63 Safari, single axle, 22', to see what 
kind of brakes it had.  There is an hydraulic brake line for the 
runaway brake system but no indication of an electric brake system (no 
wires running to the drums).

Did this trailer come without brakes?

To add a braking system, do you replace the axle?
