If you are talking about the propane detector,
according to my manual on my Safari, if the unit has
been removed from power for a long length of time the
detector may sounds its alarm until it "burns" off the
dust and other debris that may have accumulated in the
sensing area.  If it doesn't clear you may have to
replace it.
