[A/S] Up date on my new Sovereign (long)

Hi folks, I finally got my new 1987 Soviern towed to my new property 
in the Sierra Nevada foothills. It's awesome! Lots of people told me 
that Airstreams trailers are great for traveling but as a permenant 
cabin type of dwelling, and I would be better off getting a mobile 
home, (more space) I found that Airstreams have one thing that all 
other trailers, mobile homes & campers don't have... style! Sure it's 
smaller but it's SOOO cool. My friends don't call it my trailer, they 
call it "the Airstream". It's in a category onto itself. In the 
beautiful Sierras, it actually complements the landscape. (I think) I 
placed it on the very top of a big hill,  overlooking the lake. I new 
it was windy  up there but I didn't realize HOW windy! When I pulled 
the side canopy out it acted like a sail. I thought either the whole 
trailer was going to be blown off or the canopy was going to be 
ripped to shreds! I think I might move it down the hill a bit. I 
haven't totally figured out how to work everything just yet. 
The "polution warning" alarm sounds every time I turn it on. I don't 
think there's and carbon monoxide because I haven't used any of the 
appliances yet.I like to close the main LPG gas tanks when I'm not 
there. Will this casue the pilot lights on the stove, heater or 
fridge to go out? If so, when I turn the gas back on, will the unlit 
pilot lights fill my trailor with gas? I was thinking that was why 
the alarm keeps going on.

P.S. My closet neighbor has a really cool old trailer, 37 foot... 
huge! Probably from the early 1950's. It's been sitting in his yard 
for 30 years. It pretty cool, all wood interior but the outside is 
weathered. He doesn't know what to do with it. He was shocked when I 
told him there are people that restore these things. Even though it's 
old and run down, it has a style that resists the ages, i think in 50 
years my Airstream will still have class as well.
