[A/S] Problem with gas

Ok, so the first night in our "new to us" Airstream the furnace would not
light.
Not to worry, we have a heat pump and a small ceramic heater. Called the
dealer we bought it from the next morning. He said it must be the gas
regulator and he would send us a new one. Couple of days later (today)
the refrigerator would not stay lit. When I tried the stove the burners
would not
light.

We are full timers and at least two days away from connecting with the promised
new LP regulator. So, we stopped at Camping World in Bowling Green and bought
a new 2 stage auto switch over gas regulator for about $40. It took all of
20 minutes
to change out. Everything now works fine. But, the dealer explained to us
how they
check everything on there used trailers before selling them! There are
several other
small things he said they would check and obviously did not.

If you want it done and done right the first time, do it yourself! Does
anyone need a
new LP regulator?

Except for the above venting... the trailer is great! Trying hard not to
fall in love with
this one, it's only a thing. B^) And the new truck pulls it like it was a
little pop-up. I'm
getting about 19.5 MPG solo and about 13.5 towing. The Hensley is still a
challenge,
especially unhitching gracefully. I'm sure in time I'll work it out.

Really getting spoiled with all this new stuff,
