Tony,

For what its worth, two years ago we had a regulator die suddenly 
without warning. We were doing a winter camping trip to Mytle Beach 
with some friends. In the process of de-winterizing the rig we 
checked everything and all worked. 5 hours later when we got to the 
beach, no furnace. The regulator crossed my mind but I guess I 
thought I would have gotten some warning signs before it died. I 
called a "mobile RV tech" to the campground and our $40 regulator 
cost $125 which by the way I happily paid because it was really 
cold. (-;

I am thinking maybe it was okay when your dealer checked things. On 
the other hand, our overall experience with Rv dealers in general 
hasn't been very good. 

By the way we, pull our 34 with an '01 Duramax/Allison and we love 
it.
