I my insurance for the Safari is through Foremost. 
They have a rider for $40 a year which covers towing
for the trailer and the tow vehicle.  If the tow
vehicle is disabled they will send an additional
vehicle to also take the trailer.

I have AAA but to get the trailer covered I have to
upgrade to AAA plus and then an rv package.  In
addition AAA says that the RV coverage is not honored
in all states.  

I used to have Good Sam but at $100 a year, the change
to Foremost was a no brainer.  The key is to get the
proper coverage so you don't have to leave the trailer
behind if the tow vehicle is disabled.
