get HIGH profile and heavy ply rated radials  or 
get bias ply tires and keep either one, well inflated.
I have never had a tire fail because it was over inflated.
I look for the max pressure and keep it inflated to that amount.
yes, they will heat up and get even more pressure in them but, they
will run cooler with more air than with less.  tread lasts longer as
does side walls.

again, I ran thru 5 brand new Michellins and replaced them with Kelly
Kevlars back in '73 - the Michellins were a bad batch and I helped to
get the entire run recalled - not a one lasted more than 300 miles.
The Kevlars lasted until we sold that wonderful trailer after living
in it full time in a 3 yr long honeymoon.  why we are still together
after 30 yrs.
