Bias ply "nylon" tires are the ones that develop 'flat spots' when sitting,
and depending on inflation and how long they were sitting, they might not
recover their 'roundness'... i had to replace six two-year-old bias ply
tires on the rv after it had been sitting for a couple of months. As far as
i can tell, the only advantage is that they're less expensive.

radial tires ('steel-belted') provide a smoother ride, but because the
sidewalls aren't as stiff as the tread, may 'sway' more... also, if you run
them under-inflated for long distances, the steel tread can chew through the
sides of the tread causing separation or blowouts.

generally speaking, light truck or trailer, load-range C or D radial tires
will be best for your trailer... verify the manufacture date - regardless of
tread wear, you probably don't want to run on tires that are more than four
or five years past manufacture date.

be sure to bring the trailer to the tire shop and have them mounted by the
tire place - the wheel-wells on Airstreams tend to be a tight fit for newer,
fatter tires.
