Tony:

I don't have it but our Unit president has a rope connected to the 
brake controler that runs across the hump in their suburban so that 
the passenger can pull the rope to apply the trailer brakes.  They 
have used it a couple of times.   Seems like a good idea to me, but 
as I said I don't have one YET.
