Jim, and others, while sitting around the campfire, one Airstreamer said the 
Ruth Boys are now using finely ground corn cobs and "air blasting" the old 
clear coat off Airstreams before applying the new clear coat.  It sounds like 
another "environmentally friendly" to do the task, if you have the equipment 
and develop the proper technique.  I would assume that the Ruth Boys had a 
lot of practice before they tried this on a customer's trailer.
