The listowner knows that a new oven costs between $100.00 and $300.00 and 
before she would spend $150.00 to replace a thermostat she would replace the 
whole oven....

A new stove, with electronic ignition, would be preferable to me than a 1985 
model.

The oven in question is almost 20 years old..... I said *I* would replace the 
oven. I would.
