[A/S] Tow Vehicle Rental

I've been looking at a couple of small Airstreams at various 
locations across the country, mostly out west.  I have the advantage 
of having a daughter who works for a major airline do I can travel 
to check them out at very little expense.  What I'm wondering is if 
I decide to take the plunge, does anyone rent tow vehicles?  I'm 
thinking that if so, it'd probably be cheaper (or at least more 
expedient) to sacrifice my return ticket and do a one-way rental to 
tow the A/S back than to fly home, drive back, and haul it home.  
Ryder & U-Haul don't seem to list anything of the sort on their web 
sites.  Of course, I suppose I could rent a huge truck and roll the 
thing inside... <G>

Any thoughts or suggestions?
