Wow you got to do 40mph?

I had a 98 Expedtion with the 4.6L and 3.55 rear end towing my '71 Safari.
It has a dry weight of around 3700#.

Going from Truckee, CA  into Lake Tahoe, I got down as low as 20mph in
second gear with the gas petal to the floor.  Going home on US50 to the bay
area was no better.

I sold my Expedition last month and just got my new truck as I mentioned on
this list earlier.  A 01 Silverado 2500 HD CC LB 6.0L with 4.10 gears.

Proabaly over kill but better too much truck than not enough.
