Exactly, that's why I am obsessing over the models, years, ect.  I do 
now remember hearing older is lighter before and I like the idea of 
the pre 68 skin.  Don't have time for alot of rehab as just finishing 
doing an 1865 house.  

You have a single axel.  What are the plus and minuses.  I'ld guess a 
flat is a bigger deal.
