Dick, I installed (3) Fantastic fans in my Airstream.  In the 
bathroom I put a regular Fantastic vent w/o any auto thermostat.  I 
then installed a Max Vent over the fan so that you can use the vent 
in the rain w/o any problems. In fact I keep that fan going  almost 
all the time.  The install went real easy.  Just shut off the 
breaker, I used a sharp chisel along with a single edge razor and 
some turpentine to remove the old sealent. Remove the old fan, make 
sure your hole is the right size.  You may have to do some trim work 
here. Use the sealent supplied, (I opted to use stainless screws 
instead of the ones supplied.) then seal the unit after installation 
with your Vulkem.  Make sure the temperature is conduceive for the
