Paul,

The parts you are referring to are generally called "banana wraps". 
Airstream changed over to plastic ones back in the 80's and never 
looked back. Those were one of the things I replaced on my Argosy. All 
four of them. Now, here at home without the book to look at I know for a 
few years Airstream used a different arrangement on the rear corners. 
They made up a filler that closed in the space between the inside of the 
bumper forward to the lower body. Sexy maybe, but very expensive to 
replace.
The plastic banana wraps cost around $45 ea. but that fancy filler, the 
last time I looked was in the $300+ range.
As Chas said, if you can find someone with and English wheel to make 
you a set it will likely be less expensive.
