[A/S] Sad Satellite Story

You know that the idiot electricians blew stuff up in my trailer... including 
my satellite positioner.

No problem, I found a place in Texas, PPL RV Parts Superstore, that had one. 
I spoke to them Monday morning..... they promised to ship it that day.

So, here it is Friday and I wonder why it's not here and call them.

Seems the computer lied and they didn't have one after all..........he says 
he tried to call me but kept getting a busy...... bull.... my cellphone is 
never busy, it takes messages.

So, no positioner.  I called Winegard. Seems they no longer make this model 
and there's not one to be found anywhere..... so I'm screwed.

I have to be in Sarasota on Tuesday for the Airstream rally which means I 
have to get this one off my roof this weekend...... just have to get the dish 
itself off, not the whole mount. Can't drive with it in the up position as it 
could fly off and injure someone.....  

The good news is there will be people selling dishes at the rally so I'll 
probably get a new one there and have it installed.

Not sure how to get on the roof, I don't have one of those "bend every which 
way" ladders.

What have I learned from this situation?  Get a dish in a dome. You can drive 
with it in every position.
