[A/S] Trailer Insurance Coverage: Can this be right?

Hi Everyone – 

First of all thanks so much for the very thorough and informative 
responses to my post on A/S tow vehicle shocks—really great stuff!

I have another question.  We were informed today by our insurance 
carrier (well known major US insurance company), that we did not need 
to specifically have insurance on our Air stream.

Supposedly, when the trailer is attached to the tow vehicle, our 
vehicle insurance covers the trailer as well (outside stuff—damage, 
wrecks, etc.).  When not connected to the tow vehicle or for inside 
coverage, our homeowners insurance covers contents and structures.

My wife is rejoicing, I am skeptical, but don't want to look a gift-
horse in the mouth.

What experiences do you folks have on A/S insurance coverage?  Are we 
cool, or do we need additional coverage?
