You may want to look into getting some New Foam for the mattrresses, 
beware, this can get expensive, but you do generally get what you pay 
for. There are a bunch of posting on this list in the past related to 
the different types of Foam and their respective charateristics

I usually place really heavy object just forward or on the front axle of 
my 31'. The ide is to bias the load towards the front, but not all on 
the Trailer Tongue.

Be careful of overloading the trailer as well. The toatal weight can go 
up fairly quickly without you realizing it.

Not much you can do there, Airstreams are fairly short by thier nature 
compared to most trailers, also the curve tends to rob you of some of 
the under awning useable area because it slopes in towards the trailer.

I tend to look for spots where I can raise the Door side of the trailer 
a couple of inches to get the Awning up a bit, Mine is a few inches 
above my head (6'0") Which I've gooten used to. I had the same feeling 
when I first got My trailer.

Good Camper!! I block, but I've been looking for a good solid (Metal) 
clamping wheel chock that locks between the axles. Just about foolproof 
if used correctly. I would highly recommend something similar

If you have a Tongue Jack this should Help. But you may want to add some 
front ones as well. We have them at the four corners and they do a 
pretty good job.
