OH YEA, one other thing...

DO NOT ADD COAX to the cell phone antenna. It is OK to cut it if needed to
make it shorter (only if you can correctly solder or crimp TNC connectors).

The reason is that at about 900 MHz, the loss is so great in the commonly
supplied RG-58A/U, and the signal so weak from the newer dualband/trimode
phones, that adding 10 feet, with connector loss, will null the gain from
the antenna.

UNLESS, you are still using a 3 watt bag phone and do not have digital
service...
