Good Morning Jonathan,

I have a 1999 7.4 Suburban and pull a 27'-1972 Overlander - Typically we
have the Sub loaded with gear and have two sea kayaks on a roof rack.
Airstream is pulled with water tanks full.  My coolant temperature stays
at 190 degrees. Gas mileage is 10.5 to 11.  I have not noticed any
significant difference with or without the Airstream in tow.  We cruise
at 65 with the cruise on in OD. Very smooth, very powerful.  The ride
was much improved after I installed four new Bilstein gas shock
absorbers.  The 44-gallon gas tank always lasts longer than my bladder .

Does anyone have a 1996 or newer GMC or Chevy Suburban with that motor?
and how has it been as tow Vehicle.
