be VERY careful with this.  it is not uncommon to find water pressure at faucets
all over this country as high as 200psi.  must have them hooked up to fire
hydrants of something.  anyway, your internal plumbing really does not want
anything more than 35psi and half that is more than sufficient usually.

There have been a LOT of horror stories over the years as to damage caused by
excessive water pressure.  best, get an inline nipple with a guage on it which
is usually preset at about 35psi I think.  in the meantime, it measures the
inlet water pressure. and shows you just how high it is.  El Paso in '67 still
brings back memories...!!!

so, check your filters, see if you can adjust the pressure carefully, remove it
and replace it with the faucet end nipple.
