Thanks, Manny.  That's hardwood flooring in the kitchen/dining area.  
Sure wish it was in the living room too, but that's carpeted.

I sure hope my explanation helps your wife!  If I were doing an 
accident investigation report, I'd say the primary cause was the 
brake controller, with the short wheelbase tow vehicle as a 
contributing factor.  You've fixed both of those things.
