[A/S] Re: Convincing My Wife on Airstream
Carl:
I normally read all of the replies before I reply, I this case I only
read some of them. Perhaps some of my ideas will help:
1) Some replies talk about thirty year old units, my unit is 44 years
old a 1959 Tradewind International 24 ft.
2) If you look at this site you will see some pretty nice looking
vintage units, go to the bottom of the page and click on "vintage
photo archive" http://www.vintageairstream.com/ You don't even
have to leave home.
3) The feature that I like best is I can cruise a legal highway
speeds and meet a semi going the opposite direction and I don't
normally feel his turbulance. Try that with a square box, it just
won't happen. My 24 trailer is even a single axle.
4) On more than one occasion I have travelled when it was so windy
that the fivers and square trailers weren't even on the road. Not
my preferred time to travel but sometimes Murphy does it to you.
