 A catalytic heater is not like an unvented open-flame outfit that kills
those hunters. They ARE safe to operate in a trailer, albeit with proper
ventilation. You must leave a couple of windows cracked a bit, or one window
and a roof vent. And, yes, you get some heat loss, but a cat is still more
efficient than your furnace. Plus, the cat uses NO electricity, a huge
advantage if you're boondocking.
