Jack, on my 63 AS, when I remove the cover over the dump fitting, the 
gray water from the sinks and shower run directly onto the ground.  The 
dump hand works only on the black tank.  Of course, by connecting the 
sewer line from the trailer to the dump site, all water goes to into the 
dump site because the sewer hose on the trailer end covers the openings 
for the gray water and the black water.  In other words, there is only 
one tank for the black water.  All other water goes either onto the 
ground or into the sewer line.
