  Happy new year Richard, I have had Direct TV for several years now 
and have had no problems from them and being a retired General Motors 
employee I get a $5.00 discount. I don't know much about Dish 
Network. A friend of ours has it and had some problems with them, but 
after they finally got down to the problem it was an installation 
problem and have not had any problems since. I did notice the other 
night when we were at there house, it seemed that the ease of going 
to dish to antenna and back seemed to be complicated. You might want 
to check that out. It may just be our friends too. Richard in
