So with a pair of Trojan T-105's you could concievably run the furnace 
continuously for 80 hours.  Or call it 40 hours since you don't want to 
deplete your batteries completely like that in practical use.

Either way not bad... how much does the furnace really run?  Wasn't there a 
discussion lately about how cold it would have to be before the furnace 
would run continuously? Seems like the standard size propane tanks would run 
out before the batteries would in typical usage. (only considering furnace 
draw).

And I won't have just 2 T-105's.. I'm looking to have at least a bank of 4 
to 6, which will probably increase as my project moves forward.

As for an Airstream not being an appropriate choice for ATG living.. I agree 
to a certain extent. However for the plans I have in mind, a pre-made 
contained unit already designed for "off the grid" living to a degree is a 
far cheaper/quicker way to get going than moving, finding temporary housing, 
searching for land, developing land, building and moving in.

I only intend to live in the A/S full-time for a couple of years at most.  
While living in it, I will be building a large OTG shop with a loft or 
similar apartment style accomodations to move into.  Unless I like the A/S 
too much! ;-)
