Re: [A/S] Patti - where to dump the tanks

Norma,
Most of our Summer camping is of the "pick your spot in that big field"
variety, and many/most of those places don't have a dump station. That's
why we have solar panels and a portable water-hauling setup. (tank and
tiny electric pump) We often come home with a full poop tank; the grey
water generally goes on the ground at the camp site.

I frankly can't imagine NOT being able to park the trailer at home. Used
to park it right next to the shop, where it was super-easy to access for
updates/repairs. We now have a dedicated parking spot about 60' to the
north, where it's still very handy to load for trips and do most
repairs. About the only operation that will require moving the trailer
is packing wheel bearings and other 'underneath' work. Once the ground
settles from the water line digging, I'll probably pour a concrete pad
or at least a couple of strips. I always level the trailer when parking
it at home so I can fire up the fridge a day or 2 before travelling, so
it's nice to have a perfectly level spot to park.
