[A/S] RE: A/S 30 amp & a dump station at home - serendipity

Patty & Joy - I keep my Safari up in the Hill Country of Texas. When not
out on the road, she serves as my weekend & vacation home. She lives in
a shed, which will eventually become the south face of the eventual barn
- all things in good time, if employed. 
I buried 30 amp power line out to the site, with a second line to serve
the eventual barn. I also buried a water line out to the same area. The
point to all this? 

The environmentalists in my area are very strong and stingy with septic
permits. As I will need a septic tank with drain system when I build my
retirement home in 5 to 6 years, I knew not to ask for two septic
permits on my little acreage, so I installed a HUGE fiberglass septic
tank near the Airstream, with a dump connection buried from the
streetside rear area of the trailer to the fiberglass tank. There are no
drain lines from this tank. It is simply a holding tank, something like
900 to 1,000 gal. I just made a deal with the local honey bucket service
to come out to my place every 3 to 4 months and drain off approximately
1/2 of the contents of the tank. (I need weight in the tank to keep it
in the ground, in heavy rains it has floated once already. A marvelous
experience I can tell you.) So far, I've only had to pay for one load of
black/gray water to be hauled off, and he charged me $35.00. But I think
that was a big  mistake and the cost will more than likely be quite a
bit more in future. But ........

I have full use of my bathroom & kitchen facilities and am still within
the local govt. rules. You could do the same.

Joy - Come on down to Texas. Here, it is perfectly legal (with the
permit) to carry your 2nd Amendment weapon and use it in the direct
protection of your family & personal possessions. I also had a silly
neighbor. He didn't like my solar powered gate opener. 
I just drove off while he was ranting in mid sentence. Funny enough, he
started screaming to make his final point.
