[A/S] 78 Soverign door hinge nightmare

the skin is almost the last thing to go on.
like a house, you frame it, put in the windows, and other door frames, skin it,
wire and insulate it along with all the plumbing -- you know - all that interior
stuff, then they put the interior skin on.  THAT is what is blocking your
access.  you need to get up under the interior skin which is easy enough if you
remove the cabinets first, etc.
can NOT think of an easier way to do it.  may have just forgotten it.  maybe we
used to do that from the outside instead.  30 yrs is just too many...!
