[A/S] IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION FOR 390-395-396 MOTORHOME OWNERS

From the Airstream web site

Airstream has determined that under certain loading conditions; there
exists the possibility that the front axle may become overloaded. More
specifically, the load on one of the front tires (usually the roadside)
may exceed the load carrying capacity of the tire. This conclusion is
based on weighing a number of customer units at the Airstream factory.

To the best of our knowledge, no problems related to this issue have
been reported , but Airstream is not taking any chances with customer
safety. We consulted with the National Highway Traffic and Safety
Administration (NHTSA), Freightliner, and Michelin Tire, and as a
preventative measure, Airstream has decided to voluntarily replace the
present XRV 255/80R 22.5G Michelin front tires on these units with
Michelin XZA1 275/70R 22.5H tires. This of course, is at no cost to
owners.
