Jerry, an electric pressure washer will not take the clear coat off of a
1968 model Airstream and I doubt that it would work on newer trailers either
even though Airstream has used different clear coat products over the years.
I'd guess if you could crank up enough pressure to move the clear coat you
would probably dent the skin, cause leaks and other problems. Just my
opinion about possible damage but my experience on not affecting clear coat
on my Tradewind. A 1200 PSI pressure washer is handy for washing off clear
coat stripper and does a nice job. Also experience.
