[A/S] '56 Caravanner front antenna

Hello all,

I have a '57 Overlander and a '56 Caravanner with a common 
problem. They are both missing their top-mounted (radio? CB?) 
antenna. The one that is centered over the front window where 
the WBCCI numbers are. I have the antenna from the 
Overlander, and the prior owner said that it had been torn off by 
snow on the roof which melted and slid off, taking the antenna 
with it. I expect the Caravanner suffered a similar incident. 

First of all, were these antennas for a radio or a CB? Secondly, 
does anyone have any idea where to find replacement or 
reproduction bases and antennas?
