We were recently talking about 12V appliances and inverters.  
Was browsing through some Winegard literature and found out
that the 12V outlet on the TV hookup plate, with the antenna
amplifier, over the credenza, is only rated at 8 amps, which 
works out to 96 watts... only enough to support a 85W or so
inverter.  Sounds like we need that 54W/12V 17" LCD display 
to leave enough curent for a 12V DVD player. <G>
