Re: [A/S] Hensley Hitch unhook

Hi Hunter,

There didn't seem to be any way to get the head straightened out. Sort of
had the trailer parallel parked in the space and a car in front and rear -
truck still on the street. I've had several occassions where a spring bar
was under the tongue jack and interferred with raising or lowering. Usually
worked it out by repositioning the truck. Almost always, the ackward
position of the Hensley involved backing into a space. Just pulling forward
straightened things out.

So, if you ever get in a similar situation, just take the tension off the
spring bars, remove the offending spring bar, and unhitch. I replaced the
spring bar for storage, a simple operation.

Let you know in the future when I try to hook up. Will have to remove the
spring bar, lift the jack, put it back and then tension the spring bars.
Might pull the trailer out of the parking place before I tension the spring
bars as I like to lift the coupler with the jack to relieve stress on the
spring bar jacks while I tension them as it makes it an easy job.

                   Regards, Joy
