I was unable to turn the jack with the manual crank so I had to take 
the gear box apart at the park. I have metal gears in this jack. I 
removed the intermediate gear and was able to turn it with the crank, 
get hooked up and home. I took the motor apart today and found one of 
the permanet magnets unglued and it has caused the motor to seize.  I 
called the automotive electrical shop that does all my starter and 
altenator work. Dan said to get the case very clean and reglue the 
magnet with Permatex "cold weld" part # 14600. Worked great. I 
resurfaced the armature ,a little fresh grease and all is well. Thanx
