Joy and all,
I have a 1999 3/4 ton Suburban.  The axles on the
truck and trailer are good.  I      to say this but
Hunters "observation" on us boys is right on the
money.  I called Hensley about this very subject this
afternoon and was told that it doesn't make any
difference how the thing is set up, that the hitch
will work no matter what and the trailer will follow. 
My concern is more of a handeling issue of the
vehicle...I would assume that if the weight
distribution on the vehicle is the same with the
trailer as without that handeling would be consistant.
 I also don't want the front or back of the trailer
sticking up in the air.
