I fulltime in my '79 31' International.  This is A/S number six for me since
1967 or so.

About every year or so the drain get plugged up with coffee grounds, grease,
soap film or other semi-soluble stuff.  Boiling water is the answer.  About
two gallons or so in each drain that does not drain fast.  Most of the time
that is the fix.

Whenever the boiling water doesn't fix the problem I climb up on the roof
and put a water hose in the top vents.  There is a screen in the vent to
keep out vermin.  I just cut the screen and put as much waterhose down the
vent as will fit and turn on the water.  There should be someone in the
trailer to shout STOP if water decides to run out the sink or whatever.

After the drains get cleared I just wad up some window screen and stick it
in the vent to replace the one I cut out.  I have placed the screen over the
vent and used an automobile radiator hose clamp to fasten the screen.  Sorta
over kill and looks like a temporary fix from the outside.

There are no acids or poisons in boiling water.
