Hi Mark,

I can really attest to your recommendation.  Much of the current so-called
"duct-tape" is far inferior to what it was years ago.  Consumer Reports came
to the same conclusion some time ago.  My main gripe with duct-tape is that
the glue deteriorates after a short period of application and the backing
leaves the site - making an ugly mess to clean up.

Not so with the aluminum backed tape.  In fact, I use the aluminum tape to
cover the joints of my oil furnace stack.  Of course, when the temperature
exceeds 300 degrees or so, the adhesive leave, but within the operating
range, it's just great! :)  It was the only tape I could get the wiring in
the roof of the Argosy to stay in place while I installed the insulation and
ceiling panels.  Duct tape failed within a few minutes of the sun hitting
the top of the Argosy.
