Hi Judy/Mark,

I'd try Camping World and have the choice installed on site.  Camping World
seems to be everywhere! :)  Bet installation of the BAL equipment will be
much less costly at Camping World than at an Airstream Dealer Service shop.
Check www.campingworld.com for locations and catalog pricing (including
installation).

A quick check at this link indicates that the list price per scissor is $99
plus $50 installation.  However, membership in the Presidents Club gets the
jack for $75, a substantial saving.  Could be that there's advantage for the
installations also.

Only drawback is that the Airstream dealership knows exactly where to mount
the jacks.  Your friends would have to be absolutely sure that Camping World
knows the position also.  Or, other VAClist and AirstreamList may be able to
provide the exact position information.
