The electrical hookup is easy if your vehicle is prewired.

What takes some thought is where to put the controller so that you 
can both easily see and operate it manually, AND route the cable from 
the back of the controller, with as little bend and internal 
friction, as possible... hopefully winding up with the cable jacket 
right in line with the supplied cable termination unit clamped to the 
brake pedal arm.  There are quite a few posts on this in the archives.
