i'll plug my choice once again - the Onan 4kw propane-fired genset - clean,
quiet, efficient.

the major difference is that you will want to find a spot to permanently
mount it.

The propane version of the 4kw genset actually produces an honest 3600watts,
enough to run pretty much everything all at once... if you start up the a/c
first.
