Hunter,

If I may.  1.  Who says that it is illegal to install our own dishes?  I 
see a lot of people providing information tat as of yet is not backed up 
with anything of substance.  If you claim that only professionals can 
install two way Internet, then please provide the applicable FCC chapter 
and section.  2.  I had mine "professionally" installed because it came 
with the package.  When asked the individual that was doing the work 
admitted that he had no licence to do the work, and  as far as he knew none 
was required. BTW the installer knew less about the process than I did, if 
fact other than screwing the dish to my roof I had to do the rest as his 
"equipment" wasn't working.  My Sat finder worked better than his 
protractor and compass, something that amazed him to no end.  3.  When I 
asked Direct Way about the "professional" install the customer service rep 
admitted they wanted installers to do the work so that everyone did not 
wind on one satellite, in fact once he left I moved mine from the sat he 
pointed at to one that had less traffic.

If I'm wrong and there is a law and not a regulation please provide the facts.
