Don, sorry to hear about your trailer damage. Who is your insurance carrier
and why wouldn't they be responsible for getting it repaired after you get
it delivered to a dealer/repair facility you both can agree on? Are you able
to take pictures of the damage both outside and inside? I assume the inside
end cap may have been damaged too -- but I hope not. It might be possible to
get a ball park idea about repair costs based on a good photographic record
from a facility that has replaced Airstream segments before. I'm assuming
the labor costs for replacing skin segments are listed in a rate book and
the aluminum segment costs should be available from Airstream assuming the
segments themselves are available. I imagine it will be a hassle before
she's like new again.
