[A/S] tree damage
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
Came home last night to find one of my neighbor's trees on the back of my 69
Overlander. Just bought it. Funny that this thing has survived well for 33
years but lasted only 2 months in my drive.
The rear awning is ruined as are the two or three panels above the rear bath.
Looks like the center one is pretty large. They will have to be replaced by
someone?? The nearest Airstream dealer is 100 miles away. I want it done
right by someone who knows what they are doing, especially since it is his
insurance paying for it.
I know that the first thing they'll tell me is to get estimates. Easier said
than done. Not like a car. Any tips, concerns etc that you can share with me?
This is my first AS, but it looks like if this were a typical trailer, that
the entire rear end would have been squashed like a bug. 2x2's aren't very
strong.
Has anyone "close" to Marion, Illinois ever had work like this done? Larry's
Trailer Sales has a good reputation, but I don't know about working on AS.
Thanks.
